Mini-Handball Festival in Edmonton, AB - Nov. 19, 2011
Mini Handball is currently being played by Gr.3 - 5's at St,

Mini-Handball in Calgary
With the ATHF, Calgary Handball is committed to developing
Team Handball in Calgary and surroundings. We can offer schools
different options:Mini-Handball
- Modified version of Team Handball for elementary school aged kids.
- To develop the basic motor skills of Team Handball
- Promote team play, sportsmanship, and to have fun with the sport.
Jr. / Sr. High School Handball
- Training resources, and plans for teachers.
- Volunteer coaches (if available).
- Scheduled tournaments organized by ATHF.
What else do we have to offer!
- Coaching and Referee clinics available through ATHF.
- Continued development for players in the Alberta Team Handball League.

Mini Handball Success Story
Over 100 Children participated in Mini Handball at the All Sport - One Day program at South Fish Creek Recreation Centre and Cardel Place in June of 2011. (This an increase from the 60 participants last year at Don Hartman Sportsplex and Cardel Place.)
Sportplex managers and the Calgary Sport Council were very impressed by Mini Handball with all the running, jumping and shooting. They were also impressed by the excellent coaching provided.
This event was preceeded by a very successful Mini Handball
Festival at St. Sebastian School January to March, 2011. Many
kids enjoyed the games and many coaches were trained to teach
Mini Handball.
